Dale Carnegie Training features more than 2800 trainer/consultants in over 70 countries. Each has undergone at least 18 months of rigorous training to become certified in the Carnegie Process. Each is also required to take re-certification training annually. Ed Carter
Chief Executive

Ed Carter has been running the sponsorship for Dale CarnegieŽ in Central England for over 20 years, starting with three counties in 1979 and growing the business ten fold to cover 17, stretching from Cheshire and Derbyshire, through the Midlands and out to East Anglia. An accountant by training, Ed previously worked in sales, general management and computer/IT roles within companies such as John Laing Construction, the Industrial Cooperative Society and Tricentrol Cars. Ed is passionate about developing people's potential and creating value and growth. For his clients. And for his team. He is licensed to lead almost all of Dale CarnegieŽ's programmes, and specialises in in-company consultancy and major culture change and team development programmes. An avid vintage motor car enthusiast, Ed also enjoys visiting National Trust properties and spending time with his family.





Trina Tollman
Business Development Manager/ Trainer

After an initial career in management development at Abbey National, Trina is qualified to coach a number of Dale CarnegieŽ programmes, including the flagship Dale CarnegieŽ programme, High Impact Presentations, High Performance Teams and World Class Customer Service. Working with clients such as Caterpillar and the Waste Recycling Group, Trina's particular skill is to develop deep relationships with her clients and work with them to develop and improve their business on an ongoing basis.

In her free time, Trina is an enthusiastic water skier.





Jim Mowat
Trainer

Jim has been involved with training and development for over 40 years. Following twelve years as an officer in the Royal Air Force, Jim took up a career in manufacturing as a manager in a footwear and luggage factory. His career shifted within the footwear industry into technical, purchasing and selling roles. Eventually Jim ran his own import agency, supplying footwear to Independents, Major Multiple and Mail Order outlets.

Throughout his career Jim has been responsible for the training and development of the people within his team or organisation. Jim became a full time management and personal development trainer when he joined Dale CarnegieŽ Training, an International Training Organisation, in 1994. Since then Jim has worked with a large number of companies across a variety of industries in both the private and public sectors, including British Nuclear Fuels, Barclays Bank, United Cooperatives, Bombardier Transportation, members of staff from college and educational organisations and staff at all levels from many small and medium size organisations...

Jim believes that we all have the power to grow, and achieve the outcomes we want in our lives, if we so wish. He sees his role as facilitating that change in others in order that they can fulfil their potential.





Sally McMahon
Trainer

Following a career in the NHS as a Speech and Language Therapist and manager, Sally achieved a postgraduate diploma in HRD in order to pursue a new career in training. She is a chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and has worked as Head of Training for two UK charities. Sally has provided training to a range of organisations and specialises in personal and professional development. She recently joined the Dale CarnegieŽ team as an associate.

Sally is a qualified exercise to music instructor and her interests include travel, walking, films and spending time with family and friends.
